Re: [Electric Boats] Polar dc vendors?

Nope, cricket sounds.  If I don't find a bank with a built in BMS I like I will build my own bank using LiFePo and Mini BMS.  I don't mind spending a little extra to get a finished product. But building my own is also not a big deal.

On that note Anyone using a BMS that connect to NMEA or Cann bus?  That has been trouble free?

James,

Did you get any info on the PolarDC Lithium-Ion Battery Packs?  The type of Lithium-Ion will make a big difference, also charging and monitoring each cell will be very critical.

I know there are a few Polar DC generator resellers on this list. Has anyone got any detail or pricing on there new Lithium battery packs?  I would not mind getting a quote for a 48 volt 400 amp hour pack.  I gather from the site they want to sell this a a complete system, if so the 8 kw or 14 kw generators are the ones I would have the most interest in.
