Re: [Electric Boats] LifePO4

Lonner,
Please followup. That's a really good price. I just bought 16 of the same from a vendor in Utah for the same purpose. About $3k but that was shipped to the Virgin Islands. I also noticed that Li-nmc cells are really coming down. Electric car parts has some that are 80 A/hr for $60. I considering using these for my electric 12' catamaran dinghy project.

Hi fwiw,  A few days ago I ordered 40 3.2v 280AH LifePO4 prismatic cells from a vendor on Alibaba. $3096.00 plus $745 shipping all fees, duty, etc. included. Also ordered two 16S BMS from Chargery, which include readout screens for easier management.
These are for home solar storage. Two 48V 16 string banks. This is 28KWH of energy! LIke 5 Tesla Powerwalls. They shipped 8/19 so I would guess a couple weeks to arrive here in Northern Cal. The eight extras will provide storage for a 8S-24V pond pump irrigation system.
I'll post a report once they are received and checked out. It will be a few weeks until all is assembled and tested.
