Re: [Electric Boats] Direction and Throttle Direction Controls

 

I have a sevcon motor controller & use a curtis et134 directional throttle. I have it installed below deck in the engine compartment & the i.c.e. shift cable from the steering pedistal is connected to it. Doing this keeps it safe & dry. I have Fred with a Tartan 27 to thank for that suggestion :)

My motor direction control switch, which is a potted dual
proximity switch, has become unreliable.



I am looking for something low profile and waterproof.
Either a separate switch, or a combination for both Throttle
and Direction. I want to mount it to a steering pedestal on
a sailboat next to the binnacle.



What do you recommend?
