You may wish to look at the Elcon family of chargers. I have had a 1500 watt unit mounted in my runabout for the past 4 years to charge my two 60v x 160 ah LiFePO4 banks. It has many safety features and a reasonable price. They also make larger chargers if you have the shore power available. I have no connection with Elcon other than as a happy customer.

The general topic of charging the whole 48V bank versus each battery?  If you do that do you use a separate 4 bank charger for equalization?
