Re: [Electric Boats] Charging house and propulsion batteries

My boat is small
I have a 36 volt drive system in my boat with  a 22 Ah battery pack at 36Volts
Also an 11 Ah house system(only need it for lights and Hifi).
I have both systems charged by solar.
I installed 8 10 watt panels.
6 connected to the drive system and 2 to the house system.

When I was designing my system, the only other option I could think of was to run a 12v inverter and then use a charger to charge the 36V system.
I didn't want to have the losses by inverting and then changing back to 36V.

10 watt panels only deliver about .5 amps in good light. They keep my boat charged. I only use it for short distance though.

Subject: [Electric Boats] Charging house and propulsion batteries

I have an electric sailboat which currently has solar and wind generation. Currently this charging system only charges the house batteries.

Does anyone know a way or specific product I can use to charge both systems simultaneously or at least be able to shift back and forth between both systems?

I have a 72 V motor

THANKS!!!
Jason
