Electric aircraft? How ridiculous.. everyone knows that steam power is the future for aviation !!

Came across this news item. It's not about electric boats but, an electric airplane that travel 200 miles recently.
At it's core it's about moving a mass through a fluid efficently. So maybe there will be some trickle down technologies we can use in the future on our boats.
