Am waiting on details of the new ePropulsion 10kW Evo (regen) pod drive although the UK dealer has already quoted it to me at £5,600 without VAT.
It's true though that you would probably want at least 2 x 10kW for your 42ft cat to achieve full hull speed.
The hybrid Betamarine setup including a regen capable 10kW motor is a package developed with Hybrid-Marine in Hampshire (https://betamarine.co.uk/resources/Sales_Brochures/Hybrid-KC-SB).
Will post technical details of the ePropulsion 10kW Evo pod drive once I have received them.
