Gosh, that sounded a bit of a pain getting the thrust bearing/shaft sorted.
Anyhow, interesting to read. My only comment is I think your 14" diameter will be too much and 12 x 10 will be better to ensure you get the voltage to current ratio in the right area to make the cruise speed efficient and to achieve a reasonable peak power efficiently in terms of copper losses, all by keeping the volts and therefore shaft rpm up and amps down by using a prop as suggested. Look forward to the results regardless.
