Great price on a converter. Run the converter thru your master kill switch and run your bilge pump to a dedicated battery or to a single battery in your bank if it hardly ever runs. But having a bilge pump direct to a battery is a good idea esp if it was solar charged and independent.

Just connect to +/- terminals ..... BUT
this is a poor approach because it will unbalance the battery bank.

The better solution is either of
1) use a DC-DC step down converter like these:

2) add a dedicated 12v battery just for the bildge pump.
