Take the genset off of the IC engine and put the engine on the outboard..and call it an outboard motor!

How about an 110 volt electric lawn mower motor on top of an outboards lower unit run off of a generator. I want to push VERY slowly a 34 footer for trolling salmon.
There dont seem to be 110 volt proponents ... is there a reason or could this work
