Yeah, now you have a taste of what Moses must have felt like when they formed up to leave Egypt. I am a member of several groups bailing on Yahoo. Looks to me like they are going to loose a lot more than what they thought they thought they were going to gain. On one of my groups, there were 80+ moves in one day. Now imagine that times the thousands of groups they were hosting. Sure glad I don't own stock in that company...

The migration is underway. As one might imagine, the people over at Groups.io are getting quite a few requests (!) The process requires that I invite a Groups.io address to be a member of the Yahoo Groups, then they accept it, then it is approved by us (Yahoo Groups) then the actual migration begins.
As I say, they are getting many many requests to move over there, this is the actual message I get when I check on the progress on the Groups.io site:
We've received the invite to your group and will accept it soon. There is no need to send another invite.
