I'm in the process of converting a Catalina 27 to a thunderstruck 10 kw motor. I'm starting with 100ah agm bank. You say 4 hours with 190ah, what speed/rpm is that? What charge level are you going down to?

I have to concur with the above. We get about 4 hours of range on our 27' boat, with our 190 AH 48V batteries. But we replaced a 12 HP diesel, in an 8,000 lb boat. It is a great solution if you can make it work for you. A Valiant 40 is a great boat. Let us know how it goes,
