No, the boat doesn't wallow at all, and certainly tracks very well regardless of speed. The bay is very protected, and 5 mi long by 3 mile wide max. Other areas are channels (Intercoastal Waterway) in min speed or no wake zones. I have always contended that "if I were really in a hurry, I'd be in a jet". We like to slow cruise to a beach or island, drop the hook and spend the day with friends. At 12.5 foot beam, we don't bob around too much.
