Re Peukert. My view is for most sailing yachts in the 8 to 10m range is that if you can fit a series connected AGM pack at 48V in the 260Ah region and discharge at up to and around 0.2C based on 20 hr rate for ones cruise speed then that is acceptable. On my Lithiums I discharge at 0.25C at cruise on my 200Ah pack, although hour rates are not so applicable with Lithiums. I charge at 0.2C normally but also have an extra charger so can do 0.25C for those cheaper 4 hour marina visit costs to get a decent charge in.
