Be thoughtful in selecting a bearing for thrust carefully noting the thrust specification. Most bearings for a rotating shaft are only specified for radial load.
For thrust on a rotating shaft the Type E bearing is a good choice, with two opposed tapered-roller bearings back to back.__._,_.___
