At 4.7knots you are only using ~2.2kW at 900rpm. It is a 8kW motor, right? Then you have plenty of power (and propeller rpm) left for more rough situations?
The Lynch systems looks very nice! I dont even dare to ask for their prices, probably ten fold my budget:-/
