Jerry,
Consider Nickel Iron batteries. This battery will not fail you from discharge or overcharge.
When the way a bank is used is out of your control, edisons tech is the only way.

Does anyone have any experience with the Firefly Carbon Foam AGM Batteries? I have a charter boat that is going through house batteries like water due to guests deep discharging them and not charging them enough. Supposedly these batteries are resistant to damage from deep discharging. I want to also put some solar on this boat in the future but it's cost prohibitive right now and figured I'd try this first. I was also thinking of using these on a small off grid house that I'm building that will be unmonitored for about 3 months at a time.
Thanks,
Jerry Barth
