I also have a conversion project in the works with Electroprop to replace the A4 (w/V-drive) on my C&C 33-1 with a Racer model. The pic shows 3 of the 4 NorthStar 210FT Blue+ AGM batteries. The fourth is located aft, on a shelf that held the waterlift muffler. I'll have to build a transverse beam to mount the motor and it will protrude about a foot into the cabin. It's a compromise that I made very early on. V-drive conversions might seem more suited for a belt and pulley arrangement anchored on the engine stringers but I like the having (most of) the batteries where the engine once was. Right now I'm awaiting the other components from Electroprop.

Its moving forward now. Got the old iron out Monday and am cleanin and paint prepping now. Getting final dimensions and $ to Electroprop so they can start building our Islander plug in package. Uber excited!! James at Electroprop is a wealth of information and has been a pleasure to work with!!
