I have the Solomons system on my 41' Lagoon catamaran so I'm dealing with a larger boat. Solomons recently changed their name to Ikanos, here's the link. http://www.ikanostech.com/
Though the site doesn't have it listed their new line will include a 32HP electric motor to replace up to a 120hp diesel. These motors run on a 144v system and I would think this would be the way to go. Give them a call and tell them what your plans are and what you want to do.
