I noticed that the Epic Boats website is big on flash and small of real specifications. Perry, good catch on the 16 minute capacity. I would be very interested in a review by someone that isn't making money on it. The builder, a distributor or a magazine that is receiving advertising money from the builder may not be unbiased.
Wakeboarding is very energy intensive, Epic's gasoline powered 23' version uses a 8.1 liter (490 cu in.) Mercruiser and a 55 gallon fuel tank. I doubt that anyone takes one of these day cruisers on multi day trips, so it looks obvious that their boats can burn many gallons per hour. That display of power is hard to duplicate with any type of electric boat.
