Re: [Electric Boats] Electric 79 Larson 26 footer

Thanks Denny.
I have a 15 amp charger (Guest) that will charge two banks of 12 volt batteries. I plan to put a switch in the series connection between the two banks and charge all four together or possibly use two chargers. I do have a question about disconnecting the banks. Is it necessary to put the switch in or can I just connect the two chargers to each parallel bank leaving the series connection in place?
As far as the unequal charging is concerned I could connect the 12 volt ground to one parallel bank and that way draw those two batteries down equally.
If I get 4mph I'll be happy.
There is a company, Kipawa, that sells performance props for Minn Kota, anybody recommend them?

Thanks again for the feed back.
