Hi Mark,
I saw this unit a while back, looks good and I love the fact that you can pull it out very easily. I'm building a unit much like it on the port hull of my 26 Stiletto, swing it into position went I want to charge and out when I'm finished. A friend of mine gave me his tow behind generator, it made perfect sense to me to modify it into one of these units... Dave K

Subject: [Electric Boats] hydro generator
This is something I saw at the Strictly Sail boat show that looks interesting http://www.wattandsea.com/index_en.php
These units are optimized for low drag, I'm thinking a hydro generator like this designed at 48 volts with a larger prop....
I like that you pull it out of the water when you do not need it.
