Re: [Electric Boats] Miami Electric boat

They did make the show, although just!  I spoke with one of the guys who made the trip and it was a push.  They apparently got great results with the regen under sail as they were making good speeds with 15-20 knot winds. It was a shakedown though with lots of small things cropping up to be fixed and adjusted. I haven't made it out on the docks yet to see the boat - perhaps today. I've been alone with my booth, but have help coming in today. Glad they made it though. The more of these electric boats people can see the better!

Nanci,

No I didn't get down. To much going on and I couldn't get away and I haven't heard if they made the show. How close were they when you left?

Hey Steve, did you make it down to Marathon?  I'm going to the Miami Boat Show Fri. I haven't talked to Jay. Did the boat get finished?

Just a quick update, I just received the HDM Equalizers and will not probably install until I'm down on the boat over night to monitor them for the first 24 hours which will probably be next month. I'm still collecting parts for the 7" (min. maybe the Ipad if I can justify the cost) monitoring screen for the PakTrakr which will require a BlueTooth connection setup. This allows for all the data from the PakTrakr to be seen on 1 screen without pushing buttons. I'll be able to then monitor the individual Propulsion bank batteries and find the sweet spot for time/distance.
