I am looking at various possible motors for an outboard conversion. Light weight, efficiency and fairly high power are all important, but most important is reliability.
I have an original Etek, and may look for another, but would appreciate any comments by those having personal experience with the Manta (several are on Ebay) and the Mars brushless, both of which have reported weight of 22 lb. or so.
