James -- thanks much for this. Since Kelly sells motor/controller combinations on their web site, I wonder if Doug's issue is really a mismatch? The controllers are programmable, so the question is, is the motor/controller pair not matched, or was the controller programmed wrong at the factory, or is there a programming change he can make now to eliminate the noise, or is the motor itself noisy?
I really wonder before I pull the trigger on a $1000 motor/controller combo that looks exactly like Doug's.
Doug, what do you think? And anyone else have noisy motor problems? -- Paul
